Versitile+Value

Today, I've decided to do a post on items that are both versitile and a great value. Today, I'm taking advantage of ModCloth's amazing prices & the upcoming July 2nd Charlotte Rousse BOGO sale on shoes.
A festive yet casual outfit for great prices.

The top is Blueberry Crisp Oatmeal Top ($22.99 but is currently sold out) from ModCloth and the shorts are red white and bloom shorts ($34.99), also from ModCloth. The first shoe is a braided loop sling back ($17.50) and the wedge, also from Charlotte Rousse, is a Chevron Strap Cork Wedge ($35.50). But, because of Charlotte's Sale, you'd pay only $30.25 rather than $53 because on July 2nd, they have a BOGO Sale going on with ALL their shoes. ALL OF THEM!

I believe this outfit is a great way to not only celebrate the 4th of July for all you Americans, or just to wear casually. You can exchange the blue top for something like a regular white tee and the sandals for some solid color tennis shoes. This outfit is officially versatile and value

Spending the Night with a Headache

My head is throbbing. I'm sitting here, now watching Happily Divorced (yet again). I'm posting this picture because it's from the new show Love in the Wild. Its totally worth watching. My favorite partnership is Samantha and Mike (pictured above). They're the only couple to stay together and just so adorable!

anyways, I've got a post scheduled for tomorrow so I could finish it tonight. Its small but I like what it's about.

Anywho, I totally need to take a nap. Post later, ladies.

Dressed for Less - Airy Date Night

I've been wanting an outfit for a night out that is just airy and not so heavy. Nothing too flashy, nothing to bulky or tight. And here's what I've come up with.
Staring at Stars Lace Kimono Blouse from
Urban Outfitters $69
I love this blouse because...well, how could you not? its airy, light, and sheer. Throw a shirt underneath if your a little more modest or rock it by itself. Either way, in love with this.
Kimchi Blue Chrissy Short from
Urban Outfitters $49
When I first saw these shorts, I honestly was like wtf, how are these blue? but hey, Urban Outfitters knows what color they are! Anyways, I wanted a pair of shorts (definitely) to go with the lace blouse because it portrayed such a laid back appeal.
Nine West Snowdrift Suede Bootie in Taupe
from DSW $39.93

No words.

This is a beaded vintage ring and a layered banlge ($5.80 - 4.80) both from forever21. They add to the neutrality of the blouse but don't class with the shorts.
Giani Bernini Handbag - Canvas Wristlit
from Macy's $30.99
This outfit needed some color. This bag has enough of it. And if those shorts really  are blue, there's some cohesiveness there. And there you have it. An outfit I'd wear on a date, hands down. And, as part of my Dressed For Less aspect of the site, all this came to a total of $199.52 (without taxes and such, obviously). Don't forget these pieces. In order to make sure you spend your money's worth, some items will be featured in multiple outfits to show just how you can put each of these pieces.

Cake & TVLand

I swear, ladies, I'm a teenager with a slight case of insomnia and a major case of chronic fatigue. I'm sitting here, 11:31PM, watching Family Guy, coughing up a third lung. You'd think a whole bottle of Nyquil & a bag of Halls would do the trick. "A Pep Talk in Every Drop" my behind! Ugh, it's been 4 days...I'm ready for it to be over.

Tomorrow is the church picnic. 3PM-9PM. What. The. Everlasting. Heck. That's one long picnic. I hope my coughing is more controlled by then; I'm running out of medications to dope myself up with. I'm sure I'll enjoy myself. I'll be sure to take pics of what I'll be wearing ;) Maybe I can find something cute!:o

Off on a random note here, I'm really craving some cake. Like, seriously, cake would be amazing right now. Any kind. Oh! Lemon Cheesecake! Ohhh, can you say mouth watering? But, now I'm eating applesauce watching Happily Divorced. I'm a sucker for television shows that are for an older audience. What can I say? 17 is the new middle aged :O

While I'm typing, I guess I can think up some things you guys might actually want to here.

I'm ordering my first batch of school clothes in a few days. I'm pretty nervous because I've only picked out clothes from Forever 21 and Aeorpostale. Should I change it up? I know I need to grow up, clothing sense wise. Should I switch up Aero for something else? I must hunt for new chic bargains! I'll be posting my F21 wishlist Wednesday or so.

Well, I'm off to finish my episode of Happily Divorced & head off to bed.

Neutral: Great Heels, Better Prices

I'm new to wearing heels. Actually, I've never worn anything over a 2/3 inch wedge. I have a shoe fetish that Im waiting until I can buy my own clothes to dwell in. So, until that fateful day, here are the shoes I love, where to get them, and how much of a steal they are!
Great Heels for Better Prices

The first two heels are from Zappos : (1) (2). The third heel is from Alloy: (3) and last but not least, I had to include a wicked heel thats just amazing from Ebay: (4)

All of these shoes are under $100 and are neutral so sticking them with an outfit should be quite simple like I did here:
Simple yet Stylish, from the base heel
Here, I took the heel from Zappos and made an outfit! Here's the info!
Necklace and Earrings = Costume Jewelry /Dress = Urban Outfitters /Clutch = Overstock.com

Now, for my personal contribute. I love a floral pattern. I'm a total sucker for them. My wishlist for school included like 5 shirts with an overall floral pattern. It's just a new found love for me! Now, I stuck the green clutch in to take up the small amount of green found in the dress. The earrings and necklace just tie the green together. With a cute hair accessory, this outfit is of total quality. Such casual attire for such high end ladies.

Welcome to My Blog!

To start things off, I used to want to be a fashion designer. Back about 5-6 years ago, I was dead-set on it. I had my sketch book, my color pencils, my models for drawing. But most importantly, I had passion. For an 11-year old, I was for certain that's what I wanted to be.
Now, I'm 17 and have decided to become a veterinarian. It's my new passion but I have not love my love of clothes. It's rekindled in the past few weeks and I'm finally ready to embrace it!
Here's what you can expect:
Not many pictures of me
I'm just too shy at the moment. Maybe when I become more comfortable with myself I'll post some pictures(:
Many things I 'want' but don't have
Besides, fashion isn't what you have it's what you put together. Even though I may want a lot of things, I'm a very conservative person. I'm planning for my future while living for my present!
LOTS OF SHOES
I have a new found shoe fetish. Of course, my family won't allow me to stuff my closet full of shoes but one day...I will need two closets. One for clothes. One for shoes!
My Opinion
I'm a very opinionated kid. Some people may take offense to that. I hope to to offend anyone, but I say what I think!
Personal Tidbits of Information
I'm a teenager, my hormones are raging and blah blah blah. I may have a post every so often that has nothing to do with clothes and such, but hey. I'm only human.
Well. That about sums up what you can expect on this blog! I hope you all enjoy!
